Technologies used: Paradox The radio station required a way to track what prizes were given out over the air to prevent winners from calling to win another prize. Integrated into this custom database software a disaster database was also developed to keep listeners informed in case there was an emergency. |

Client: The Pentagon (Arlington, VA) Project: Mail tracking database for Navy. Technologies used: FoxPro Completely rewrite the naval secret mail tracking system to run on a PC from a mainframe system. This software tracked bar-coded classified mail receipts to ensure proper delivery. |

Client: Mustang Software (Bakersfield, CA) Project: Database programming for the Bulletin Board System (BBS) market. Technologies used: Mustang’s Wildcat BBS, C++ APDI becomes Mustang’s system engineer for the east coast and handles hundreds of customers with BBS needs for databases and hosting. APDI is one of two software engineering companies to be awarded software engineer level. |

Client: APDI develops the well-known product Cheetah (Featured on the cover of BBS Magazine) that is used with Mustang and Galacticomm software to enhance their systems with full text searching capabilities. This opens up the door to numerous businesses that have large amounts of text to be searched online. Cheetah makes the front cover of numerous trade magazines and is used by such companies as U.S. Robotics (RoboSearch), U.S. patent and trademark office and PC Magazine. |

Client: AOL and 2 Market (Ted Leganus Company) (Virginia and California) Project: The first online shopping system. Technologies used: Wildcat BBS, C++, FoxPro Using a bulletin board as the base APDI developed an interactive system that worked with a 2market CD. Customers can browse the CD for an interactive shopping experience. (this precluded what the Internet has become). Upon selecting different items from different stores (Spiegel, Land’s End, Tower Records, etc..), the customer would place of our which would go through APDI’s custom built database. The system also took orders through AOL’s system. APDI’s database distributed the orders to the appropriate stores in whatever media form was required. |

Client: Charles Schwab (San Francisco, CA) Project: StreetSmart investment software. Technologies used: C++ APDI hosted the enormous 60 server Schwab system. In unison with other systems around the United States APDI creates a failsafe state-of-the-art-database for one of the country’s largest companies. APDI programmed the back end database core while other programmers in California developed a front-end interface to connect with the APDI servers. Replacing Charles Schwab’s Equalizer, StreetSmart becomes a huge hit in the financial market place. |

Client: Toyota (Dallas, TX) Project: T-Ten mechanic educational system. Technologies used: Wildcat BBS APDI builds a host Toyota’s Technical Education Network. This was an online reference encyclopedia where technicians could access and retrieve technical documents regarding Toyota automobiles. |

Technologies used: Linux, UUCP CSCANS is an automatic document distribution system based on UUCP that was used by Fujitsu to distribute technical bulletins about its telephone switching equipment. Several of the major US phone companies connected to this system daily to receive technical bulletins, update notifications, and support documents. |

Largo has been going strong since its creation and APDI will be releasing its next generation later in 2003. |

Technologies used: ASP, MS-SQL Server APDI hosts SportsCombine which has been the recognized as a national leader in high school, youth and organizational sports statistical management. IFS is a standard source of statistics on all aspects of international and domestic finance. IFS tracks and publishes financial data for most countries of the world. The IMF selected APDI becuase of our experience in publishing software and the reliable hosting we offer. |

Client: The PRS Group, a world-renowned international business publisher located in upstate New York. The PRS Group publishes two systems for evaluating the risks faced by business in countries around the globe. The Political Risk Services system forecasts the risks related to the general business concerns of regime stability, turmoil, financial transfer, direct investment, and export markets. The ICRG System rates political, economic, and financial risks, breaking each down into its key components, as well as compiling composite ratings and forecasts. APDI works with PRS staff to move hosting and program development to APDI’s facility. |
